Loved the old decor and how was kept like it is yet today. The cleaning lady on 11 floor that took care of our room was absolutely amazing. That woman deserves recognition. She was polite, helpful, and so amazing.

It's a great City with lots to see and do, transport is great use the Metro where you can or simply walk and take in the sights.
I would avoid JFK Airport is is so congested and tooknus over 2 hours to clear immigration and on departure we taxied forv2 hours awaiting take off.
We went to Central Park, Bronx Zoo and of course visited Twin Towers Memorial, Time Square was busy.

The last time I was in New York with my wife was in 2010 – now, 15 years later, I’ve returned to visit the city again. Compared to back then, the streets are even more crowded today. While car traffic has been reduced, the roads are now filled with cyclists speeding through the city.
For safety reasons, many sidewalks in front of the skyscrapers are covered with scaffolding, often obstructing the view of the iconic buildings. The police presence has also changed: instead of officers on horseback or Harley-Davidsons wearing blue helmets, heavily armed units now patrol the streets.
Life in the city has become significantly more expensive. In the heart of Manhattan, you hardly see any elderly people – the city seems to belong to those between 20 and 60. But one thing hasn’t changed: New York is still the city that never sleeps.

It was our first visit in New York.
It was our first visit in New York. It is a lot to take in with the traffic, noise, lights and amount of people on the streets and everywhere. The overwhelming smell of weed literally everywhere was very unpleasant. We underestimated the amount of walking you have to do each day, so it was quite exhausting for us. We had a wonderful time though visiting different sites and attractions (and family & friends) and wished we had more time to do our whole intended itinerary. New York is quite expensive, for example paid USD 14 for a soft vanilla ice cream in a waffle at Bryant Park and USD 7 for hotdogs on Times Square. But on the other hand, obtained excellent seats to the Wicked Broadway show the same day of the show for 'only' USD 135 pp. That show btw is AMAZING! Getting the right subway was a bit of a pain and gamble, but the rides were clean and air-conditioned and less scary than expected, although we did encounter a few characters.

NYC is definitely a fun city to visit, lots of different activities for almost every type of interest, you can watch a Broadway, go shopping in SoHo, visit the Met, and so many other options. The food options are also amazing, such a plethora of different cuisines available at almost every corner. It's convenient and super affordable to get around with the extensive public transportation system, Googlemaps is your best friend.
I definitely wouldn't want to live here though, the atmosphere almost feels kind of dehumanizing, perhaps since it is such a fast-paced bustling city. You can be surrounded by people, but everyone is in their own bubble and cannot be deterred from their preset track, at the same time, this does make it convenient as a solo traveler, you fit right in.
I didn't feel too unsafe walking around, but definitely don't recommend wandering around too much after nightfall depending on which part of the city you're in.

NYC is a great city to visit.
NYC is a great city to visit. However the traffic is horrible so plan on getting around by foot or subway. Make sure you have plenty of time to get to the airport on your way back home. 9/11 museum Worth every penny. Lion King was great. We enjoyed random pizza bagel joints that are on almost every street. We did an Experience First walking tour that was excellent and my 10 year old grandson enjoyed it.

The hotel is great, the staff is very polite and well trained, rooms were clean, the hotel restaurant is good and they have an amazing rooftopbar with a view to the Empire State building. Additionally, I believe this to be the best location in Manhattan to stay, not too close to Times Square that it is to touristy, but close enough to do most things walking distance.
Location is perfect if you like to stay in the center of Manhattan. You are minutes away from subway, Penn station, Times Square…..It looks like a really safe neighborhood. The rooms are very clean, so a great experience. They let us keep the luggage in the hotel till late fr free, as our flight was late at night. If I go back I will stay here.
It’s one of the cheapest alternatives in Manhattan. Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. Excellent location in Koreatown, just next to Empire State. It’s a walking distance to Times Square and even to SoHo if you’re a good walker.
I stayed there for 16 nights. Loved how clean it is. The location is quite central. Near to subway stations and just a 10 minutes walk from Times Square. Recommended if you're looking for cheap accomodation in Manhattan.
Room has all the basic amenities, except a minifridge. Great view of the Manhattan skyline. Location is very central, short walk to the Flatiron district, Penn station and Times Square. Cheapest hotel in this area.
