I had such a wonderful stay at this property! As a solo female traveler, I truly appreciated how peaceful, quiet, and safe the space felt—it made all the difference. The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated; you can really tell the host put a lot of thought and care into making guests feel welcome. Check-in was a breeze, and the host was professional, thorough, and very responsive.
A delightful surprise was the private backyard—it wasn’t mentioned or I might've overlooked it, so discovering it felt like a little bonus retreat! This place is perfect for solo travelers or couples looking for a comfortable and secure getaway. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return with my husband for a longer stay!

Immortalized in popular music, culturally diverse Brooklyn has achieved almost legendary status. On the western end of Long Island, across the East River from Manhattan, this huge NYC borough is so densely populated that if it were its own city, it would rank as the 4th largest in the US!
The borough is connected to Manhattan by 3 bridges: Williamsburg, Manhattan and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. It's also connected to Staten Island by the lengthy Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Ocean-going liners pass under here before docking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook. To the northeast, Brooklyn Bridge Park has some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, while southeast is the huge Prospect Park.
On one edge is Brooklyn Museum, the country’s 2nd largest art gallery, and just behind is the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens whose cherry trees bloom a vibrant pink. To the east are some hotels near JFK Airport, and there are more in neighboring Queens.
At Brooklyn’s southernmost tip, Coney Island’s historic boardwalk has appeared in several films. Renovations are underway to bring it back to its former glory, and the revamped Luna features a historic wooden roller coaster. Also historic is the northern Greenpoint district with its elegant 19th-century houses.
Cheap Brooklyn hotels are great alternatives to accommodations in Manhattan, so check Booking.com for the best deals.
There is much to see in Brooklyn. My ancestors on both sides were from Brooklyn, so when I go there, I am mesmerized! From trying to find their former houses, to going to Prospect Park, it's all fun to me.

We love Brooklyn and usually prefer to stay here rather than Manhattan. The subway makes it easy to get to Manhattan and there are wonderful things to do and see in Brooklyn. I actually prefer the choice of restaurants in Brooklyn and it is a very walkable city.

I ran the NYRoadRunners Brooklyn Half, 5/2025, from Prospect Park to Coney Island Boardwalk. Born and raised in NYC, I had never stepped foot in Brooklyn. WOW!! By all means, go through Prospect Park. If you get the chance, PLEASE eat lunch at Bogota Latin Bistro, which was recommended to me by a Brooklynite. YEAH. Brooklyn is GORGEOUS. Didn't see Coney Island, as our race organizer actually fenced us off the boardwalk attractions, the rides, and the food.

Brooklyn has been for several years the "happening" place in New York City. The neighborhoods are vibrant and beautiful. Best views of New York are from the Brooklyn promenade. Wonderful ethnic foods.

Well, for NYC standards rates are affordable (which in other places would still be expensive), including a delicious breakfast, which carried us through the day exploring the city. We loved to travel to downtown using the ferry, which is a nice walk away. The subway is a little bit further away and parts of the walk under bridges are not soo pleasant, but overall it is also ok. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.
The location is great. Situated close to 3 tube/subway stations in Downtown Brooklyn, easy access to food court at the shopping centre across the small park in front. There are few other options to eat around at reasonable price. It is about 15min walking distance to the Dumbo, a nice area with food court and bars with overlooking to the Brookiyn Bridge and Manhattan.
The hotel is in a great location, walking distance from the Brooklyn and Manhatten bridges as well as 2 good subway stops. We asked through Booking.com if we could have a room with a view and we had a room with a fantastic view of Manhatten.
Clean and accessible to many things in Brooklyn. It seemed the same as other Hiltons or big hotel chains I've been to, so if your looking for a safe and clean place to stay, this is great.
